I received and started using a new handset and contract but quickly found it wasn’t right for me. I phoned to cancel within 14 days cooling off and agreed to take sim only contract going forward. I was advised to return the handset in the prepaid envelope they’re sending.
I assumed this is all in line with distance selling b regs and I’ll only be charged for the data used during the time I had used.
However, I’ve received a text to say I’m still liable for the remaining £940 for the phone? Anyone know what happens next? I’m not sure why I’d return a new iPhone 11 and still pay £972 in total for it!
