Replacement Sim

When I insert the new sim card and turn phone on it is saying wrong card. I have tried turning it off and on again and leaving it 10 minutes but still saying wrong card.

It is an old Samsung phone and the IMEI number is: [REMOVED]

I'm wondering if the new sim card is incompatible with this model of phone?

Hi,

I'm sorry your having trouble, You had replacement sim please check on the packaging sometimes website to active it or number need to call to active the sim-card.

Please, don't post your IMEI number this public forum

Hi, 

I tried the sim on a newer phone and it worked fine. I just think the current old phone I have the sim sent to me is not compatible.
