Replacement SIM for SIM switch

I have had to do a SIM switch for the new service, however i've switched the SIM prematurely and didn't send the 'SWITCH' text until after i'd changed the sims. i've now received a text sayig my service will be cut from tomorrow. 

Likewise I have repeatedly tried to contact Virgin but to no avail. 

Do I need another replacement SIM or is there a way of using the one I already have?

Are you working on the new SIM or the Old one?

If new nothing to worry about whatever the message says

If the old one and you have had the replacement more than a month, then yes you will need a new replacement, if less than a month activate it now

the new SIM is in and the phone is fully operational however I didn't text 'SWITCH' until today (due to receiving a text explaining that my service would be cut tomorrow). I've then had a reply to say the switch will take place tomorrow so I just wanted to be sure that it hadn't registered to 'switch' the new SIM.

Well its only the old red ones they turn off so you should be OK there
