Could someone share with me the instructions of how to reduce the number of rings before the answering service kicks in, please?  Currently, it rings ten times.  The agent on the phone referred me to call "1571" but there are no instructions.  Many thanks!

Hi RayC3,

Thanks for posting and welcome to our community 😊

If this is the Virgin voicemail service it's something we can help with, if it's a voicemail service on the actual handset this isn't something we can do.

Let me know if it's ours and I can pop you over a private message.

Thank you so much Alex_RM.

It's not the voicemail but the actual number of rings before the voicemail cuts in.  Most people would not wait for 10 rings and expect a voice mail soon after the person is not available.  The new telephone set - Motorola FW500 was installed by Virgin Media as the modern phone to replace an old BT phone.  Hope this helps.  Thank you.

Thanks,

I've popped you over a private message so I can get a few more details from you 😊
