Receiving calls abroad from a third country

My plan says it is free to receive calls when abroad. But is that still the case if the call is from a third country? I want to receive a call in Turkey, from Australia on my UK Virgin pay monthly mobile.

Any help, much appreciated!

Hey C-Q-G, thank you for reaching out with your question today.

This is free in over 25 European countries unfortunately Turkey is not a free one and this would charge you  to use the phone calling, texting and using the internet.

You can find out on this link where it does confirm received a call is free, this link will also give you a break down on how much it would cost you to ring to.

You could also use apps like WhatsApp's, Facetime etc over WIFI where this would be free. Thanks

Thanks, but my question was about *receiving calls in Turkey. What charges would there be if I received a call in Turkey, from somebody in Australia?

Hey @C-Q-G,

Thanks for coming back to us, you can find all information around roaming and the charges it may incur on our website here.

Hope this helps. Joe
