I have just been sent a mobile dongle while work is been done before they can install my wifi and im only getting like 0.2 mbps and my partner works from home so this speed isnt suitable at all.
Is there anyway someone can help me
Virgin's mobile side is provided by O2 - do you, or any friends/relatives have an O2 mobile? If so - see if that also has slow data speeds. You can check for area faults on https://status.o2.co.uk/
The full signal is just indicating the quality of radio signal your device is receiving. The amount of capacity available on that signal, in simple terms the amount of radio-space, is not measured by your signal bars.
If there is insufficient radio spectrum for the amount of use, then there is nothing can be done except to find a network operator who does have sufficient capacity & coverage in your area.
