Re: Ending of Pay As You Go

When I called 789 I was told that if I want a PAC code I cannot have a refund. They told me to either use all my credit to get a PAC code or have a refund and change my number by switching providers. This feels unfair, I have £60.00 credit remaining which I am not going to use up unless I waste it all. On the flip side I have had the same number for over 20 years and I don't want to lose the number.

I am Really disappointed that the rules seem to differ from person to person as many people on here were able to have both.

Re: Ending of Pay As You Go

Had no problem with getting pac code and refund. Why have you built up £60 credit?

Re: Ending of Pay As You Go

Good morning @Any_502,

Welcome to the forums and thank you for taking the time to post.

I am sorry to hear that you have had some conflating information.

This isn't the case, you are able to have both your PAC code and a refund.

We can action the PAC code request from here however the refund would need to be done via the call centre.

If you would like for me to action the PAC code request then please do let me know.

Kind regards,

Zak_M.

Re: Ending of Pay As You Go

My pay as you go expires on January 11th so I need my PAC code.
Texting PAC to 65075 didn’t work, neither did adding my date of birth.

Texting a message to 07533016422 just resulted in a message about billing.

I have only ever had this pay as you go phone and have never registered an account with Virgin,  just registered here to get help.

I need my PAC code so I can switch to another PAYG provider.

Julie

Hi Julie,

So I can help I've popped you over a private message to get a few more details from you (purple envelope, top right hand corner)
