Was the cause of this fault ever fully resolved?
I'm experiencing the exact same SSL error, and being returned by the exact same websites.
However I'm using mobile data with a Virgin SIM. The SIM has been tested in two different Android devices ( Huawei P30. Lite, and Xiaomi Note 9), both exhibit the same fault.
Changing to an O2 SIM fixes the issue.
Likewise changing to my home WiFi fixes the issue.
As DNS on mobile data connections under Android is completely hidden from the user, I'm not sure what I as a user can do?
Is this indicative of a fault in Virgin's DNS configuration? Perhaps localised to a DNS cache server?
