Question about roaming with O2 sim. Just took out a volt package with £10 sim

Hi Just took out a Volt package with a £10 o2 sim contract 5gb doubled to 10

Everywhere i have read it states EU roaming is included, however on the contract it only mentions "texts and Calls"  It only mentions Data as "UK Data"

Having googled this forum lots of people have issues with Data not being available in the EU but able to make calls?

Can somebody confirm if my new contract will include Data usage for free in the EU?

If it doesn't, its no use to me as I am a frequent visitor.

I've been able to locate this section of O2's website - O2 Travel in our Inclusive Zone

Under the sub heading - What if I'm travelling in Europe? It's advised;

We cover roaming in our Europe Zone as part of our Tariffs. So your data (subject to a Roaming Limit), minutes and text allowances will work in our Europe Zone, just like they do at home. Find out more about roaming in our Europe Zone.

Hopefully this answers your question and puts to bed any concerns you may have. 👍

this is exactly what I’m reading everywhere but it doesn’t inspire any confidence to be honest is there anyway to confirm it definitely does on my actual account? I have tried contacting O2 but they are too busy and the chatbot said to try later

You can check with O2 by Social Media or ring 202. The bot is useless.

Depending on your allownce you can use up to 25GB in the EU

This is standard for all O2 Pay Monthly Tariffs
