I've been having intermittent trouble with calls since recieving the new purple SIM card a few weeks ago.
The calls seem to connect but there is no sound (not even the ringing tone). The recipient just receives a silent call until I hang up.
If I call again immeditately afterwards then everything is usually fine (although not always - it can require several attempts to get connected properly).
This happens when calling both mobiles and landlines. I've tried the same SIM in another phone and I get the same problem. This all started after getting the purple SIM - the old red one was fine.
Any help appreciated.

Really sorry you're having issues with your new SIM, this ins't good.
I can see that you've already tried a few things so before I send another SIM can I ask if this happens everywhere?

I can confirm that I have experienced the same fault when using the phone in areas several miles apart.
