I have had a problem getting my iPhone to work when everyone else is working , I found out I needed to go to sim application and change to manual so I could activate international setting my question is why did it not do it on automatic . Like my sons did ?

Sorry to hear of any issues when roaming.
As you’re using an iPhone, please can you do the following: Settings > Phone > SIM Applications > Roaming > Mode > Manual > International. If you’re using a newer iOS, then you it will be under Mobile Data instead of phone. Once this has been done you might need to reboot. Let us know if this works for you.
