I have changed over to Virgin, ported my number and have had texts confirming it has been moved over and I can use it. Was told to go into my number and change it to my ported one, but the number does not stay and save. Cannot use my imessage either. Is there a solution to get my phone running with my ported number?

I’ve just switched and I’m having the same problem. Normal texts and calls are fine but iMessage a different number appears.

Okay, I know it's not the best and I really apologise for this. Can you please allow this 24 hours - it seems like the data needs to sync with Apples servers. I have seen this before and on these forums, it does seem to happen on a weekend for some reason, I couldn't give an answer as to why. If this is still the same then - please let me know.
