I had a text purporting to be from virgin virgin Mobile saying that they are having trouble preauthorisation my monthly payment and suggesting I click on the link to update my billing details. Check with no issues with account. Presuming this is a scam but unable to get through to virgin to confirm they are not the authors of this text. Can anyone confirm that this is indeed genuine or a scam? Many thanks
I mentioned this earlier on, hopefully VM can make a sticky about it, because it arrives as a text from VM directly, so they are ghosting the number.
Best thing to always remember is if in doubt always contact VM first and any official website will be virginmedia.com/ at the start anything else will be very much a scam, a Phishing attempt to get your details.
