Poor signal strength

Hi

 

I have a Sony Xperia XA2 mobile. I have recently swapped the SIM to a new one.

My signal strength is showing as -118dBM 22 asu.

I have trouble with phone calls - they drop out often.

I have tried the 'toggle airplane status on & off' and rebooted my handset - no joy with these remedies.

Can anyone help please?

How is your signal doing at the moment? Have you tried the new SIM in another handset to see if it's the same?

No, I'm not able to test the SIM in another phone as we don't have another handset on the Virgin network.
