Hi all, in December I 'recycled' my iPhone 11 Pro to my wife and bought the 12 Pro. Recently I checked the 4G speeds and I'm disappointed.
In the same locations, both indoors and a couple of miles down the road, my wife consistently gets 80Mbps download whereas my signal level (bars) is lower and I get between 2Mbps and 12Mbps.
Virgin sent a new SIM and I've reset the network settings. iOS is up to date and Apple have done a hardware test remotely, which showed no issues. I've also tried the '4G', '5G Auto' and '5G' settings and they're all the same. I'm not in a 5G coverage area at the moment.
Any ideas what else I could try or do I need to take the phone to Apple?
Aha! You're a star! It didn't occur to me there was an account setting. Swapped the SIMs and the good service follows my wife's SIM. The bad service follows my SIM. VM I shall be calling you soon to sort this out. Thank you enlli
Looks that way. I've seen a few posts about poor speeds on Vodafone and I'm not too convinced it is totally down to them, but no way of proving it. I'm a Vodafone customer and never seen speeds that low (50Mbs at home)
On a plus side you should have access to VoLTE and 5G where it is available.

Swings and roundabouts. Definitely don't want to pay EE directly though. Too expensive. I checked the Vodafone site and it states that my local mast has had work done recently. Maybe things will pick up soon.
