Please can you help?

Please send me a new SIM card. I am considered a vulnerable person, I live on my own and have no family or friends. This means I can't use another phone to ask for another SIM Card, This is why I am asking through this medium. I have been trying for the past week to try and resolve this problem with Virgin but I have had no response. At this moment I am sitting in my house with No Gas to heat my home and I have run out of food. I can't get into town to do my shopping because I can't use my phone to ring a taxi. Please can you help??

I've escalated this for you. 

 You live on your own, so even on lockdown you can have another person who can be part of your support bubble that is not family.

Maybe that person can contact your council on your behalf as most are running support teams for this type of situation.
