Phone will not work in France

So I was sold the “roam like home” in my package. It doesn’t work at all.

your service is awefull 

I am so done with virgin mobile, I’m now overseas with a phone that was supposed to work without a phone that doesn’t have roaming charges.


I am passing all charges I receive from my other phone onto virgin mobile, with interest.


I will 1000% be cancelling my plan once I’m home and contacting the appropriate ombudsman to take this matter as far as humanly possible.

Can you please advise whether you activated roaming before going overseas?



I was told a few months ago by someone in your call centre that roam like home meant I didn’t need to activate anything so I haven’t.

I can’t even log into the app because someone on your end has changed the password and it requires a text (that I obviously can’t receive) to change it

I am sorry to hear that you are having issues with the roaming. 

Can you confirm if this is calls, texts and data and if you have received a welcome to France text yet?

Came through the tunnel and I have had nothing at all, no signal. None.
