Had a call from someone from VM mobile finance asking to speak to my husband. He asked my security password... Stupidly I gave him the 2,5 and 9th digit and he hung up. I called VM and changed my password immediately... Am I going to be hacked??? What can they find out from those 3 digits ....

Hi @River1,
Welcome to our Community Forums and thanks for your post.
I am sorry for any alarm caused. I've not been able to locate the details on our systems so can not verify the call but glad you have updated your password anyway to be on the safe side.
What did our team advise when you called to report this?

She said the number wasn't in her records so was likely a scam and there were no notes to say anyone from VM called me. She was more than happy to let me change the password. I'm just scared now of what this person is going to obtain. I know that changing the password means he will struggle to take anything out DD wise on my husband's account through VM. But I'm still worried.

Thanks for coming back to me.
We have some info here on how to handle scam calls so you know what to look out for.
You didn't provide your full security password so nobody will be able to access your account just knowing 3 characters, so I wouldn't worry about that. You've also done the right thing updating it so thanks for being vigilant.
