On October 14th Likewize sent me an email to say they were processing a payment of £356 for my trade in / up against my credit agreement and that it would be applied within the next 72 Hours.
On October 19th I called 789 as there was no sign of the money. I suspected that they had sent the money to my old (closing contract) which had one direct debit left. Support told me that in this case they would send on any money within ten days and I got the impression that they had initiated that. When the money failed to appear in my bank account I decided to register a complaint to try and move the problem on to a resolution, as surely it is a simple error to fix, and I had a confirmation email on Monday stating that they were looking into it. The last direct debit was taken from my bank account on Monday 31st (£42). I have no faith or confidence in the 789 support as the advice they gave has obviously not resulted in answers and payment... the complaints process seems like it's going to take time... and quite frankly the reason I went for this upgrade was because I assumed the money would be credited to my contract meaning that I would not have to worry about payments going out as the would be covered by this payment for X amount of months. However now my anxiety is through the roof as payments are going out and this £356 is where??? I have also not received a pin for the new credit agreement and as far as I can ascertain - and I have already made an extensive search of past email and junk mails - I never received a pin for the old agreement. So I cannot check either contract status (Though this may only show the physical contract - I don't know) ON my physical contract for the new phone it has a Service user number - I thought this might be the pin. But it isn't and a ref number which I assume is the contract number. Using these did not log me in. Going to help where it says "How to find?" It sends you to the App, in the App it sends you back to that page. I hope Mr Branson has better software designers for his space exploration projects otherwise he might be stuck in an eternal orbit.
This seems to be the best place to get an understanding of what exactly is going on... so please if you can help as money is very tight at the moment as it is for all of us... and I upgraded simply because it was actually saving me money... not costing me at this difficult time.
