Parked?

Does anyone know what the purpose of a 'Parked' order is? I ordered an iPhone XS yesterday monrning, all seemed well, then I have an e-mail telling me about this 'Parked' phenomenon.

Spent half an hour today on the (quicker!) messaging service only to be given a phone number. I the rang this (and had a half hour wait to get through...)

The next fellow basically told me that he didn't really know what was wrong but this situation was 'normal'. No, this is not normal!!

I was going to leave O2 (excellent cust. service) to come here but this is not filling me with hope!

Re: Parked?

I've seen this word mentioned in the forums before and I think "parked" is just Virgin's way of saying there's a delay, I can only thing of 3 or 4 reasons for this:
1. stock availability
2. technical issues [IT]
3. human error data inaccuracies like wrong address or bank details etc
4. some kind of failure...possibly a failed credit check or address check
I think if the agent is telling you it's normal, then they should be telling you what the issue is exactly and what or when is it going to be sorted. you're probably gonna have to speak to them again to get a better answer.
