Parked order

I ordered an iphone, it all went through. I was the contracts to sign and an email to say welcome to virgin media and how to manage my account. when I went to check online about 15-20 mins later it had said my order was parked. can someone explain this to me please? why I had been sent contracts to sign but now it's parked? thank you.
