Parked order

I ordered an ipad on Friday but despite everything going through OK and receiving a delivery date of 23rd May I received an email stating that the order was Parked.

I've seen a few posts on here and there doesn't seem to be a consistent answer as to why an order would be parked. 

The posts I've seen so far don't fill me with confidence and I'm now considering taking my custom elsewhere. 

It seems crazy that you appear to pass a credit check and are given a delivery date only to receive a parked email with no indication of what the issue is. 

 

Can somebody confirm how long I am likely to wait to hear from Virgin to explain what is happening?

Sorry to hear about your issue

A order being parked can mean a few things

It could be that they require to do further checks on your credit file down to a system error
