Parked Order

Hi, I have placed an order for a brand new phone last Friday and I have tried to get a new contract with Virgin Media. My order ended up being parked which means there is a credit check due within 24hrs, or so I’ve been told. Since the call never happened I phoned customer service then I've been advised that I should wait another 24 to 48hrs. I have been in touch with 3 different sales member so far who has promised a call from the back office for each day between 3 and 5pm. I would like to ask if there is a way to get this sorted sooner or get an answer why I’m getting the “Keep the line open as they are definitely going to call this afternoon “ answer. I would be grateful  to receive an answer wether the credit check has been successful or not however if this isn’t possible then I’ll be happy to cancel my order. Thank you
