PAC number

I have an old PAYG phone which has stopped working. I don't have an online account and my new phone only takes micro sims.

How do I get my PAC number so I can transfer my old phone number?

Re: PAC number

When you say it has stopped working is this because of non use? ie. Has it been over 90 days since you used it?

If so, I'm afraid there is no way to get that number back.

From terms and conditions

3.8 Keep talking!: You need to use our Services at least once within any 90 day period either by making a chargeable call or sending a text message. If you don’t we may suspend your access to the Services and cancel this Agreement. If we cancel this Agreement, you may lose your phone number and any unused Top Up credit on your account (see Clause 10.3). We don’t really want to lose you as a customer so please ensure you keep talking or texting!

Re: PAC number

No I have been using the number and haven't lost my credit. It's just that the old phone has physically died (battery?) and won't turn on.

Re: PAC number

I'm assuming then your SIM card is the older type. The new ones with purple edging issued since Dec 17 will actually break down to a smaller size.

If its red then it needs replacing anyhow.

I'll pass it to the team

Re: PAC number

Fine. A replacement SIM will have the same number as your old one
