Re: OMA Client Provision for new SIM

Hi Bmaxted,

Sorry to see you've been having this messaging popping up on your handset

Having done some research on this issue it would be a case of entertaining this if you're having issues on the phone itself.

This message can be because APN settings are incorrect on the device. If you have no problems with using the data on the device my advice would be to simply hit delete next time this notification comes up.

If you are having issues with data then it may require an alternation of the APN settings on the device which can be found here

Re: OMA Client Provision for new SIM

Thank you david_bn finally found APN setting which displays as not configured? So why would it say WEB already exists?

Re: OMA Client Provision for new SIM

Thanks for your response Bmaxted,

Could you possibly send me a screenshot of this to give me a little more context?

Have you since managed to put new APN settings in or was this even necessary?

If you were also able to tell me the handset and model as well this would help me run further diagnostics to help you make changes if needed

Re: OMA Client Provision for new SIM

Thanks again David_bn, I have added internet and mms APN settings you pointed to and the data seems to be working ok now, when I select to delete the updates it displayes

'If you delete the profile may not work properly'

is there any thing else I need to check?

Re: OMA Client Provision for new SIM

Hi I think the profile is ok now I was prompted to do a system update earlier this evening and that seems to have cleared the profile updates, I think everything is working.  Thanks for your help.
