I transferred my number from Three but my new number is still associated to my device.
I messaged my mum earlier and she didn’t know it was me.
what do I do?
Have you received a text message from Virginmedia saying that the SIM swap has taken place ?
What phone do you have is it a iPhone ?
If it is an iPhone the way that the iMessage system doesn't dynamically update the phone number on the Apple Servers so can you please do the following.
1) Logout of your Apple ID.2) Turn off the phone and then back on.3) Sign back into your Apple ID.This will force the change of phone number with iMessage and will resolve your problem.
