Not enough rings before voicemail

I would like to increase the length of rings before my voicemail kicks in as it only rings 3 or 4 times. I have read up on how to do it but it doesn’t work. Can anyone help. I have iPhone XR

Re: Not enough rings before voicemail

Try Dialing

**61*222*11*30# That will give 30 seconds. You can change it to 20 or 25 if you want.

*#61# should return the time of the delay set

MAKE SURE WIFI CALLING IS OFF

Re: Not enough rings before voicemail

Make sure WiFi calling is off. And drop the phone down to 3G/2G if you can and see what happens.

Re: Not enough rings before voicemail

No idea then. It's usually Samsung that has problems but I don't know much about iPhones.

With Samsung putting a comma after the final hash sometimes works.

Re: Not enough rings before voicemail

Hi Manjo,

Thank you for reaching out to us in our community, I am sorry you haven't been able to extent the rings on your handset.

To extend the ring time to 30 seconds, first enter this code into your phone: **61*+447458333222*11*30#. Next, press the call or answer key - your phone will do the rest. You can alter this to ring for 5, 10, 15, 20 or 25 seconds by replacing **30# with your choice of seconds.

Kind regards

Paul.

Re: Not enough rings before voicemail

Hi @Manjo

Sorry to hear you have been unable to change the amount of rings on your telephone manually.

I can look into getting this changed for you - I'll need to ask a few security questions in order to access your account so will send you a private message.

Please look out for a purple envelope at the top of the page.

Many thanks,
