Not connected to network

Hi,

Since yesterday I've had a message saying check sim and not connected to a registered network.

I have taken the sim out and put back in, I have taken off the virgin network as suggested online and put back on virgin, is anyone able to suggest anything else that may solve the problem?

Hello

Is this a contract SIM or PAYG SIM ?

When you look at the SIM is it all red or does it have a purple section on it ?

It's a contract sim and is purple

Thanks for posting and welcome to the community forum 🙂 I'm really sorry for our delayed response and for the issues you've been having with your mobile SIM and network recently.

 

Can you please let me know if you've been able to get any help with this since posting? If not, can you please let me know if you had received any emails/texts advising that you need to insert a new SIM before you had these issues, and how long you've had your current SIM card for?

Hi Beth,

I contacted virgin in the end and there was a problem with the phone mast so after a couple of days the phone signal returned.

It's all working ok now thank you.
