When I try to make a call 'Not registered on network' message comes up.

I'm sorry to hear you've been faced with this issue. I just need to clear up a few things with you to be able to give you the correct advice. Can you let me know the following please;
Have you had our SIM in this phone before and it has worked?
Is the phone you have put the SIM in unlocked to the Virgin network?
