No working mobile for four days now

I am a new pay Monthly customer, and arranged on Fri 28th June to bring my old number over, giving my PAC code over etc. This changeover was to happen on Mon 1st July. However, my phone remained on 'Emergency Calls Only' all day. I called Monday night to report this, and was told that my number had definitely changed and that my SIM must be 'not activated' or faulty. The operator I spoke to said they could get a new SIM to me the next day, Tues 2nd July. It is now 4th July and still no SIM. So I have been without a working mobile now for four days.

Have you checked your old SIM to see if that is working

It certainly worked until I removed it and replaced it with the Virgin SIM. I don't have it anymore to check though, unfortunately.

I believed it would stop working when I used the PAC code?

Pity - if it was still working then we could assume the transfer never happened.

Can only suggest you contact them again - a pain, I know. 

Hopefully one of the team will pick this up
