Hi, I have recently arrived in Dubai. There is no service on my phone. I had followed the roaming and barring checks in the UK. 

I need urgent access to my phone line/SMS for verifications. Any help will be highly appreciated!

Thank you for your post and welcome to the forums, I am sorry to hear you are having issues with your SIM.

Did you receive a text when you landed?

Have you rebooted your phone and tried manually selecting a network?

Thank you for your reply. 

No text messages on landing. However, I have managed to get access by manually changing the roaming option to international from SIM applications in mobile data.
