Hi,

Last time when I've traveled abroad I had no service from virgin SIM card (I couldn't make a call, I couldn't use Internet).

I've tried to get some help from Virgin services, but there was no configuration for my phone (Asus ZenFone 5z) nor for my IMEI.

I'm going abroad tomorrow and I guess I cannot rely on Virgin connection again. Unless you could help me with some information. What could I do to use this card abroad?

Of course, I have the roaming turned on. And it's no device malfunction, as I was able to use some other SIM card abroad (non-virgin card) during the same trip.

I guess probably some APN settings could be helpful here.

Internet APN
Name: WEB
APN: goto.virginmobile.uk
MCC: 234
MNC: 38
Authentication Type: CHAP
APN Protocol: IPv4
APN Roaming protocol: IPv4
Leave all other options blank/Not set

MMS APN.
Name: MMS
APN: goto.virginmobile.uk
MMSC: http://mms.virginmobile.co.uk:8002
MMS Proxy: 193.30.166.2
MMS Port: 8080
MCC: 234
MNC: 38
Authentication Type: CHAP
APN Type: mms
APN Protocol: IPv4
APN Roaming protocol: IPv4
Leave all other options blank/Not set

Hi Chris,

thanks for your response and for your help! I had totally different APN settings there. When I changed those to the ones you've sent (manually), it was working fine then.
