No reception

I have just joined Virgin mobile - for the first two days I had reception for the past 4 days nothing, I checked coverage prior to joining and it was moderate.  I can't remove the temporary number as I have no reception to receive verification codes by text.  I have tried removing the SIM, turning on and off. 

Wasn't sure whether the reception problem was due to people destroying masts.....I am having to rely on wifi calls.
