No, no network text received. Have tried switching off and on numerous times

Are you able to access the handset settings and perform a manual network search? How to do this will depend on your handset make and model. Also, are there others in your group on Virgin who have a network connection?

yes have tried manual network selection - no success despite 5 providers being listed. No other on trip with virgin 😞
