Thank you for your reply. I have had to visit our local Virgin shop and they have swapped my SIM twice now and I now have to wait until Monday to see if this sim will work after migrating to my old number. Fingers crossed!
The second sim has migrated successfully but I did have to wait a long time for the problem to be resolved. My initial problem was that my sim would not connect to Virgin in my new phone. This will be ongoing for a while as my sim tray has jammed and will not let get access. Meanwhile I am using my old phone.
Followed instructions for putting in new sim. Did not get the message saying it was up and running. NO phone so had to borrow one. Only a virgin robot that orders you to get online. Already been everywhere online - USELESS. Chat is unmanned- USELESS. Contact us asks for an "area". News to me i had an "area". No mention of area on my account. Can't complete the box so NO email - USELESS. Only other option seems to be to send a snail mail. Meanwhile NO phone, NO contact, NOTHING. Trouble is I have two other phones with Virgin. TWO more lots of trouble and aggravation. VIRGIN are arrogant.
Have same problem. Virgin are supposed to send a message to say the swap is complete and up and running. They do not send it. Now not connected. No way to speak to anyone. No Way to email or contact. No phone I am just at a dead end. Looking forward to Sky mobile
