No mobile data

I have put a new sim in my sons iPhone 7 and it won't even let me turn mobile data on. It spends all day searching for a network. i have a virgin sim in my phone as does my daughter and ours are fine. His phone worked OK until new sim popped in so not sure if the sim is not working properly if someone could help that would be great we need to go online for schooling

So, it's not just data but no network at all.

Are you able to check the SIM in another phone to see if it works?

Haven't another phone that takes the same sim.

I text the All number to save new settings to the phone and that helped but its gone off again now no network at all. Have reset phone again and still no joy

I'm very sorry to hear about the issue with your SIM card. 

 

Can you confirm if this is happening in one or multiple locations? 

 

Have you been able to check out the phone fix information on your online account: virg.in/phonefix?
