No indoor mobile signal

How do you find out what mobile network virgin are connecting you to.

For sometime now I’ve not been able to get a signal indoors which hasn’t been a problem up until now as I’ve been using Wi-Fi calling, but earlier today my broadband went down and I could use my mobile.

Re: No indoor mobile signal

Virgin use O2.

Re: No indoor mobile signal

Thanks for your post on our Community Forums, and a very warm welcome to you!

Sorry to hear of the issues whilst using the handset indoors.

Can you please confirm what results were issues from the helpful link from @enlli?

Kindest regards,

David_Bn

Re: No indoor mobile signal

I’ve check the coverage for my address and it shows as no coverage for indoors, sadly this may mean that I may have to find and alternative provider .

Re: No indoor mobile signal

My apologies for the inconvenience Darrio5233 - did the checker not advise of any issues with the area masts at all?

Re: No indoor mobile signal

All it say is

This means your data could be slower than normal. We're sorry about that. Our team is aware and working to make it better. Our top tips for staying connected would be to find local Wifi hotspots and download whatever content you need whilst connected to Wifi, so you can still enjoy it on the move.

Which to be honest it’s been saying for the past few months, not much help when your home WiFi is down and you need to use your mobile. Fortunately my broadband connect has now been restored so I can again use WiFi calling but I think for me this has highlighted that the move to O2 is going to work for me.

Re: No indoor mobile signal

Hi Darrio5233,

Thanks for coming back to us, I am sorry about this lack of coverage in your area.

If you are thinking of leaving due to this I have a link here 👉 Cancelling Virgin Mobile - This will answer any questions you may have about how to cancel and what happens if you're still in a contract.

Thanks,

Megan_L
