No data on 4g

Since about a month ago whenever I attempt to connect to data when connected to 4g it never connects. So I have to change to 3g whenever I use data. It has worked before, and I have tried all the common things. (Reset apn, take sim out & clean, and restart phone)

Hi @Jamman1403

Thanks for posting and welcome to the community.

I am sorry to hear of the 4G issues - is this happening everywhere you go or just in 1 specific location?

Best wishes,

Everywhere I go

Hi @Jamman1403,

Thanks for confirming this. I'm sorry to hear 4G isn't working, wherever you are. I've attempted to locate a service on our end, but have been unable to do so. Is this a Virgin Mobile SIM, or O2 SIM?

Can you please also confirm which device you have? Does the issue persist when trying the SIM in a different handset?

Cheers,

Virgin Mobile, doogee x96 pro, and the only other phone isn't 4g compatiable.

Hi @Jamman1403,

Thanks for popping back with those details. To clarify, have you always experienced this issue since using this device, or has this only begun to happen recently?

Can you please also try the following:
- Select Apps from Home Screen
- Select Virgin SIM Toolkit Icon
- Select Roaming
- Select Mode
- Select International, reboot the device and then change back to Automatic and reboot once more

Cheers,

I have had the phone for over a year and this started a month ago. I have tried changing the mode to international and phone off then back to manual. And it still won't comnect to data on 4g

Hi @Jamman1403,

Thanks for the information there. I'm going to send you a private message so we can look into this further for you. Please look out for it in the top-right, purple envelope.
