No Service available

Hi,

I stopped getting service on my iPhone 7. I read that Virgin sent new SIM cards out but I didn't get one. I currently have the White Sim with Red Virgin logo.

Any idea if I am supposed to change my SIM card?

Yes. All the old ones have now stopped working. You need to contact Virgin for a replacement.

Strange how you did not get any messages about this. Are you sure it's the old type. The purple appears as just a band.

Mine is white with red logo, see attached picture.

 

I’ve tried to contact Virgin with no luck for the past few weeks.

Definitely the now defunct type. 

0345 6000 789 and ring about 8 am

Good news the sim has been ordered now. 

24 hours delivery but bear in mind the current pandemic it can take a bit longer 

Can you let me know once you have received it

I received the replacement SIM - I followed the instructions with the SIM, however still receiving no service?

 

What do you suggest?

I also topped up the card and logged into my virgin account and clicked on the option to activate new sim - I pressed this and received message "Sorry, but we haven't been able to activate your new SIM card."

What do you suggest?
