I've spoken to Virgin. They informed me of a network migration to Vodafone. This explains why I can't even use my data when out because I left vodafone for Virgin due to poor network coverage. Looks like I'll have to find another provider now.
Hi I used the checker in my App. Was running on EE now migrated to vodafone. This explains my issue because Vodafone previously could not provide me with coverage indoors. So my issue will not get any better.
