No Mobile service in Redhill (RH1) area again

Yet again I have the dreaded "MOBILE NETWORK NOT AVAILABLE" message on my mobile phone. I have no 'Bars' on my phone and am unable to make or receive calls.

I checked the Virgin site and "No Outages" reported (as usual). Rang for support, after jumping through myriad hoops, got the Indian call center (as usual) after convincing the support person it wasn't a fault with my WiFi or phone I was trying to report, they checked the Mobile service in my area. They then said, "there is a problem and engineers are looking at it now" and " problem will persist for two to three weeks" and "you will be credited for loss of service" Is this a script?

This really isn't good enough! This has been an ongoing problem for Months in my area. Mobile service in the RH1 area I am in has been very intermittent. I have put up with it in the past as it normally sorted itself out in a day or two and it wasn't worth going through the hell of reporting it. HOWEVER now this is not an option. My daughter has recently been discharged home after a year in Hospital and needs 24Hr support. I am constantly making calls to NHS specialists and waiting for call backs.

Due to the totally unreliable Virgin Mobile service I cannot leave the house in case they cannot get me on my mobile and call on the house phone instead. I do not want to change number as all the NHS departments I am dealing with know my Virgin one. It looks like I will be forced to go through transferring my number to another, more reliable Mobile provider, but cannot afford to be without mobile service while this process happens. Virgin Mobile PLEASE get your act together and sort out my local mast!

Have you checked at source, seeing Virgin use EE for signal
