I'm sorry this has happened and for the delay in response but I am going to be absolutely honest with you - we're limit as to what we could raise, it's on a 3rd party platform in which the problem is occurring. I understand that the issue is only with our emails on that platform. Have you tried speaking with Google support regarding this or looked on help pages relating to the platform?
Just to confirm the issue is at the page where you select the email account - other than that the issue is not present? If you log in on a computer/laptop is the problem there?
I've looked through our own forums/community pages and can't see anyone else having this issue.

The latest update to the Gmail app seems to have resolved things.
What's been most infuriating is the total lack of help from Virgin Media, simply being passed from pillar to post while no-one actually providing any help. If an agent says "speak to technical" then that should be possible, without the rigmarole I endured! It's common these days to just blame the "system", but computers don't make themselves, •people• make these systems, so people are to blame - and should own up to that!
