Is anyone else having issues in the central GUILDFORD area ?! I’ve not been able to use mobile data in town for a while now

Virgin Mobile is now O2 in all but name.

Check on https://status.o2.co.uk/ - you've mentioned having problems for a while, O2 is well known for having the slowest data speeds of all the UK networks, due to well documented problems with radio congestion.

Tesco Mobile, Sky Mobile, GiffGaff all also use O2 for their radio coverage - any friends or relatives who use these providers will also be affected if this is the reason.

Are you having signal issues in multiple locations?
