I purchased a new oppo phone and did not realize that I could alter the size of my sim card. Virgin sent me a new sim and the grandchild informed me how to rrsize it, doh. This card did not work, so we resized the old card, which worked, yay. Will the old card stop working and what will happen to the new sim that did not work, Thankyou from an old bloke who is not as smart as his new smart phone

Hi @johnphilp,
Welcome to our community forums and thank you for your first post.
Sorry to hear you had issues with your new sim card as well as resizing the sim. Just to confirm, are you using the old sim from our services? Did you try activating the new sim as seen here https://www.virginmedia.com/help/mobile/activate-sim? If so, what happened?
Thanks,

Hi @Danielhanko,
Welcome to our Community Forums and thanks for your post.
I am sorry you're experiencing some issues with the service following on from the new SIM.
Just to clarify, has this been activated?
