My daughter has been stuck in Goa India all year and we have only just managed to get the new sim for the system upgrade to her after Virgin promised not to disconnect her old working sim but did so anyway.
Anyway when the sim is inserted it has no service. Settings shows the sim shows as Proximus and not Virgin which the old one did.
As there is no service from Proximus Virgin cannot see her phone and activate the connection although the sim serial number is the one on Virgins database. I confirmed this with them earlier.
