New sim sent in error

Hello

I received an email saying my order of a new sim is on the way. I didn't order a new sim.

 

The new sim is being delivered to an older address and I am currently abroad. I don't want my old sim to be cancelled.

 

Is there a way to cancel the new sim?

Yes, I think so..it said the sim applied to my current mobile number.

We are replacing all Sims as we are moving customers over to O2.

Can the new sim not be activated as I no longer live at that address?
