I have just received a new “oomph” sim. On replacement it is asking for a password NOT an unlock code or pin. I have tried these numbers and they don’t work- how do I get a password? The phone is quite old but the phone is important to us!
it’s a Samsung SGH A800 but it’s too old to take a screenshot! It persisted in demanding a password so I tried again using the decode number on the card and now it says “phone freezing, emergency calls only.”
I put the old card back in and it is still working.
The phone is old but we use it for important calls/ messages.
