New sim is not valid

I have a old Nokia 1100 phone on pay as you go with £20 credit on it. I have received a new sim card which is giving me the message of Sim Not Valid. As Virgin Media no longer supports my phone will Virgin Media pay for a new Doro 1370 phone and transfer my credit?.

Re: New sim is not valid

Thanks for the post Penny6 and welcome to our community.

So the process for this would be to pass security and get you an unlock code for the device, if this still doesn't unlock for handset we'd then offer you an Energizer E12 handset free of charge or allow you to disconnect the SIM card and offer a PAC code to take the number to another provider.

I'll pop you over a private message now so we can go through this.

Thanks, Emily.

Re: New sim is not valid

Hi Emily,
Thank you for the offer of help.My old Nokia is no longer registered with Virgin and not recieving any communication. I would be happy to use a energize E12 handset.
Thank you for you help.
Kind regards
