Thanks Mr G . Not sure why unlocking VM phone that already works on vm's choosen EE network changes anything but hey I'll give it ago. I've just tried the new sim in my mums phone which is exactly the same as my own on vm and does the same thing. Granted Nokia 1100 is not cutting edge but simple is not always easy in the modern age.
Hi Katie thanks for your interest. No joy as yet tried various angles of attack but nowt yet. Did fill out form with imei number etc not heard back. I do have a slight issue in that I have 2 identical phones 1 is my original vm phone which I still use and a spare exactly the same which was given to me by a friend which also works with my sim and the vm network. All though I don't know who the original provider but it does work fine . Here's the the thing not sure which one is which as don't have any details from the original to identify which i indeed to forward to vm. So really need send both to see which one vm acknowledges.Have been trying to speak the relevant vm team as there are many judging by the number I've had contact with. One did say to go into the vm shop nearest in Brighton web says closed. Q
