New sim activation

I have waited over two weeks to receive this sim and now it won’t activate, is there anyway I can just cancel contract ? , the contract has been going just under three weeks and I haven’t even used a sim yet I’ve already paid the first month, surely cancelling the contract will be no issue as I have not used the services yet.

Really sorry you're having some issues getting the SIM card activated, this isn't good. 

If it's a brand new order then the SIM should already be active. 

It could be a faulty SIM or is it possible the handset is network locked?
